Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Science

The Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Science (STEM) is designed to prepare students for a career in teaching science at the secondary school level, with an emphasis on STEM disciplines—physics, chemistry, biology, and earth science. The program provides an in-depth understanding of the scientific principles underlying these fields while also focusing on effective pedagogical techniques for conveying complex concepts to students. Students are trained to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators.

Advanced topics in biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science, with hands-on laboratory experience in each area.
