Atty. Ebenezer Y. Lim was recommended by President Victor Vicente “Dean” G. Sinco to become the Chancellor of Foundation University and this was duly approved by the Board of Trustees.

 

The University Chancellor’s primary role is to carry out the educational policies and academic programs of the University and at the same time, assist the President in the successful management of the University operations.

 

Prior to his new appointment, Atty. Lim is one of the stockholders of the University as a non-profit organization and recently, he worked as Director for Income-Generating Projects and Presidential Aide for Administration. He also served as President and Board Member of SG Bank and Executive Vice President of Negros Oriental Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

 

His experiences in the academia includes the following key positions in Silliman University: Vice President for Finance & Administration, Executive Vice President, Dean of College of Business Administration and Director of Master in Business Administration Program.

 

Atty. Lim graduated with an undergraduate degree in business administration, cum laude, from Silliman. He holds a masters degree in business administration from the Asian Institute of Management and later, finished bachelor of laws, magna cum laude from Silliman. Atty. Lim was admitted to the bar in 1980.

 

In recognition of his honest and credible law practice as well as, the active involvement and service in various entities including academic institutions, private companies, socio-civic organizations and church, he was chosen as one of the 2018 Outstanding SULAW (Silliman University Law Alumni Association, Inc.) Awardees.

 

Foundation University hopes to fully-advance its goals, vision, mission and life purpose as an educational institution with the able leadership of a new chancellor.
