Foundation University, through the Office of Student Life, organized a series of events in order to welcome the students for the new academic year during the first week of classes.

 

Last Wednesday, June 22, the University Orientation and Student Assembly was held at the Sofia Soller Sinco Hall with the aim to provide a venue for students to be familiarized with the rules and regulations in the campus as well as, the features of campus life experience.

 

The said activity was followed by the Campus Tour and Team Building for new students and transferees last Saturday, June 22 at the FU Green, with the goal to promote the atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation among students and for them to appreciate the unique qualities of each individual in the campus.

 

On the other hand, the student assistants also participated in the Personality Development Workshop last Jun 15 at the Sofia Soller Sinco Hall. Being the support system of the University’s operations, the student assistants went through activities geared to harness the skills on leadership, cooperation and critical thinking. Also, it was aimed to enhance self-awareness and self-esteem, develop optimism and resiliency as essentials towards dealing with daily work and study tasks.

 

The Office of Student Life, through its programs and activities, responds to the needs of the students in providing a healthy and conducive for growth campus life. Through the various services and activities set within the year, the office primarily works to give the best campus life experience for its students.
