The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Foundation University on the establishment of the Knowledge Resource Network located at the Main Library last March 14.

BSP Knowledge Resource Network aims to promote further understanding of the necessary economic and financial concepts and issues that affect the country and its economic development.

Through the launching of the said resource center, Foundation University has become one of the recipients of BSP’s major advocacy in providing economic and financial information to the public and the academe in assisting the research pursuits of the institution.

One of the benefits of becoming a network member is the assistance for students, faculty and staff in research and reference inquiries in the field of economics, finance and legislation. The center becomes an annex to the BSP libraries in the provinces – which has the capacity to access the resources at the main library in Manila.

Present during the MoU signing were Dr. Gregorio E. Baccay III, Joseph Norbert S. David and Nelia R. Balagapo, the current Manager of the Economic and Financial Learning Center of BSP and FU President Dean G. Sinco, University Chancellor Faisal M. Alih, College of Business Administration Dean, Dr. Charlotte V. Cariño and Institutional Partnerships Manager Cyril Mapula.
