The newly-completed outdoor playground was turned over to the grade school department of Foundation Preparatory Academy by the University President Dean G. Sinco last October 15.

Named Turf City, the playground will provide a proper venue for physical play and help the kids to appreciate and enjoy outdoor games. This will enable the children to practice social interaction through actual play and eventually, minimize overexposure to gadgets.

Turf City comes as the sixth installment of Estudio Damgo – the design-build program involving senior students enrolled at the Department of Architecture.

Estudio Damgo is the country’s first student-led design+build program and is aimed at creating well-designed structures which will be of great benefit to the community.
