Foundation University will hold its 8th University Digital Expo on February 21 to 23 at Robinsons Place Dumaguete Main Atrium. This event is held annually to showcase the programs and course offerings of the university as well as that of Foundation Preparatory Academy School of Basic Education. The event highlights the learning culture and academic environment of the university with it’s industry grade facilities and modern technology as tools for learning.
A short opening program on February 21 will commence the three-day activity as well as open the individual booths featuring the best practices of the various colleges and departments to the general public.
In the afternoon, Dr. Cecilia M. Genove sits down with FU President Victor Vicente “Dean” G. Sinco and some members of the Administration for a short chat on TV. He will talk about the latest updates inside the institution while other authorities will talk about Academic Programs and Student Life in FU.
A variety show will follow featuring the Fantabulous Greypuppies from Kinder to Senior High School of Foundation Preparatory Academy and followed by a Tour Guiding and Decorating Competition by the College of Hospitality Management.
The College of Criminology takes lead on the second day by its Martial Arts Competition and will be preceded by the Junior High School and Senior High School Department with Robotic Competitions. Later in the day, the College of Nursing’s will hold their own version of Pinoy Henyo and The Amazing Race. Meanwhile, the College of Arts and Sciences will cap the day through performances and activities. The activities will be participated in by students from public and private schools in Dumaguete.
During the last day, the College of Business Administration will take center stage featuring the FU Business Ideas Development Awards (FU BIDA) Competition with secondary schools in the city vying for the said awards. The College of Education is expected to hold activities as well as the College of Computer Studies, during this day. And before the Grand Finale by the FU Cultural Group (Abuhuni Choir, Buglasayaw Dance Troupe, Abuhuni Band), the Department of Architecture will hold the annual Truss Esquisse.
