Foundation University College of Hospitality Management was hailed overall champion at the recently concluded Tourism Week Inter-School Skills Olympics held last September 25 to 29 at the main atrium of Robinsons Place Dumaguete.

CHM grabbed the top spot in several events namely: Tourism Quiz Bowl (Shaireena Lee Tiana & Kizilyn Distrito); Domestic Tour Guiding (Rohanie Macawadib); Flower Arrangement (Dwight Gutang & Myla Melody Francisco); Table Setting/ Skirting (Absalon Abante Jr. & Flora Mae Carino) and Cooking Competition  (Princess Chua, Gayle Eleonor Leopoldo & Jonelle Frias).

On the other hand, they were able to win 1st runner up in the following events: International Tour Guiding  (Marian Villalobos), Fruit Carving (Ralph Bulingot) and Flairtending – Male Category (Gerald Gabuco & Calvin Cancio).

Meanwhile, the college also won third spot in flairtending – female category (Mary Ellyn Solibio) and was named as Most Participative School during the Color Me Run.

Lastly, Dominic Sarito bagged the minor awards namely: Professionalism and Media Choice while Analyn Sarabillo won 2nd runner up. They represented FU for the Mr. & Ms. Tourism Ambassador Pageant.
