During the short program, EDC affirmed its commitment to one of the components of the company’s HELEn (Health Education Livelihood Environment) program, which is Education as an important component for the better of the society.

Currently, 20 students, coming from the barangays located near the geothermal site, are recipients of EDC’s scholarship program at Foundation Preparatory Academy (FPA), the basic education unit of the University.

Also present during the ceremonies were: Dr. Mira D. Sinco, former University President and FPA Superintendent; Dr. Cristina P. Calisang, FPA Principal and College of Education Dean; FPA Head Teacher Felipe Sullera, Jr.; and Pacita P. Nuique (EDC’s Community Partnership Officer) and Andrew C.
