As part of the essential preparations for the upcoming alumni homecoming, representatives from the various alumni classes of Foundation University gathered for an important meeting last Saturday, April 29 at the Sofia Soller Sinco Hall.

“Panaghiusa,” the Grand Alumni Homecoming, which is scheduled on July 8, aims to reunite alumni from across decades for the last 68 years of FU’s existence as an educational institution.

During the meeting, the class representatives were not only informed about the event details but they were given the task to channel messages to their classmates that the University is encouraging the alumni to take part in the development projects.

Added to this, Alumni Relations Officer Febby Marton Rule of the Outstanding Alumni Awards explained, in a brief manner, the mechanics and gave the forms for possible nominations to the Outstanding Alumni Awards. Nominations will close on May 31. Awarding ceremony will also be held during the “Panaghiusa.”

The event is a joint initiative of the Administration through its Alumni Relations Office and the FU Alumni Association in time for the University’s Founding Anniversary celebrated every July 4.
